Halpino Hotel - Vicksburg

Halpino is a charming guesthouse with beautifully themed rooms named after Mississippi writers. My stay included a good breakfast at the Duff Green Mansion just a block away, and the owner shared captivating stories about the area's history.

Air conditioning was too cold.

I didn't want to leave and will be back. Enjoyed my 1 night stay. The breakfast had a great selection of brilliant food and drinks. It had a great location so close to the historic district of Vicksburg, Vicksburg, and restaurants😃

The location was great and excellent as for me, so close to downtown and the historic district of Vickburg and restaurants and historic sites.

The John Grisham theme throughout the hotel added a unique charm that resonated well with my literary interests.

The breakfast options were quite basic, with a limited selection and rushed service as guests had to be quick before tours started.

The rooms in the hotel were big size.

the double room we stayed in was impressive and fabulous. it was equipped with a microwave, climate control, and coffee/tea makers.

I loved staying at this cute, renovated guesthouse! The historical charm resonated throughout, especially with the law-themed decorations that added character to our stay. The complimentary breakfast was a good surprise, offering delicious coffee, fresh fruit, and a cute atmosphere.

Everything was nice, great location in the historic part of town, the staff were outstandingly accommodating. The room we had included TV set, a microwave oven, and a fridge. It was amazingly comfortable and easy to move around, private bathroom🙂

The hotel is clean and easy to access.

I experienced discomfort due to the extreme cold in the room. The lack of an ironing board was frustrating, and the shower design was poorly executed, splashing water everywhere. The absence of a pool at the hotel was disappointing, especially since I was looking forward to that amenity.

Had a great time at Halpino! The breakfast at Duff Green Mansion was a highlight-loved the quiche and grits. The bed was super comfy, but the air conditioning was a bit chilly.

Two towels for two adults? A bit stingy!!! Those common area refreshments needed urgent restocking!!! The attic access door in our room gave off creepy vibes. A more cute reception would elevate the experience greatly!!!

The room at Halpino was super cozy and clean. The mattress and bedding were really comfortable, and I loved that it was quiet-I didn't hear any other guests. The common areas had a cool old-school vibe from when it used to be a law office!
